  • Scheduled aircraft maintenance on various aircraft to maintain and keep them flying, which includes several different checks involving A checks, B checks, C checks and heavy maintenance on and off site. The job entities you to be flexible as no day is the same it is always evolving and different.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Developed skills in all areas to gain the knowledge and standard working practices to go further in my CAT A apprenticeship. I also have made different communication skills when approaching new engineers on different placements to further enhance my confidence and skills. These skills allow me to progress with my experiences.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I highly enjoy my apprenticeship to a high extent and everyday is different, the experiences you gain in order to progress in development and skills is impressive and working on aircraft has been a challenge that is good abs exciting.

  • It is very well structured and organised by managers/mentors.

  • I revive high amounts of praise and feedback on my apprenticeship which allows me to develop.
