  • Field based job, my job involved doing various things everyday including going to clients offices or network sites, everyday is different in this job, I really enjoyed going to different places and providing solution for customer needs.

  • learnt loads of telecom related skills which will help me in career ahead. really enjoyed doing fiber optics work and looking forward keep learning with 5G coming soon.

  • Absolutely loved it. all of the senior colleagues were really supportive and helped me settled in.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It was well structured and I was given all information timely, Induction was good, I was given all support needed by mentor, colleagues and manager. Only thing I would say my academics part wasn't clear to me I wasn't given clear information about classroom learning that what I will be learning during my course and how it will help me with my job. but practical side of training and support from mentor was really good and organised.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I was given everything I needed my mentor and manager helped me towards my training really happy to be part of there team, regular feedback meeting were arranged which helped me improving myself. All the tools required for job were provided timely as well.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Really enjoyed learning new things, all the support I needed was given by my Tutor/Advisor. Only thing I would say I found it training material itself was more towards the IT rather than being focused to telecom which would have helped me with my job

  • Definitely will help me taking my career further. I really understand how this part of company functions will love to be valuable part of company

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There were some social activities such as Christmas party and Christmas quiz, but due to COVID not much. But still company looked after there employee there were goodies sent by Vodafone to enjoy in home which I think was really good gesture.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Really good company to work for who cares about there employee and customers. Vodafone have been really supportive and adaptable in this difficult COVID situation and really helped me developing my career in telecom field.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Vodafone?
  • Research about the company, be yourself if your have genuine interest in the job you want to do, you will succeed.
