  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • On a day to day basis I send out the morning change email which informs colleagues of changes taking place the next day. I also carry out change checks and raise any that could be improved on. I also help carry out CAB meetings which helps decide on if high/very high risk changes can be implemented.

  • I feel like my qualification has helped with my job to a certain extent however some of my qualification work I don’t carry out in the work place. However I see this as more new skills that I have learned and can be carried with me throughout my life time.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are loads of different extra curricular activities in my workplace that I can take place in. Although I’d like to try some new ones, my schedule is pretty full. At the beginning I signed up to help with the company’s community day, this is when apprentices go and have a “day out” and help the community doing activities or fundraisers etc.
