  • Materials Controller in my job role. My day-to-day roles consist of chasing up material for jobs arranged to be be fabricated at the work facility. My role also consists of booking delivers steel sections and plates into the system so that they can get put onto cutting lists for the machines on the shop floor.

  • Yes i have learnt numerous new skills during this apprenticeship and continuing to develop existing skills.

  • I enjoy this programme quite a bit, because it is giving me the skills to become fully qualified for my job role.

  • Very well organised and structured.

  • A lot of support. If i have questions or require help they will always provide the help required.

  • A lot of support, always get help when required.

  • Very well, given me more of an in depth knowledge of the working environment as i had no prior knowledge in the construction industry.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, there is a company football team open for employees to join. Extra-curricular activities currently not going a head at the moment due to covid.
