  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Day-to-Day roles within my roll include, checking stock levels by printing out perpetual stocks checks, then answering the phones and serving the back counters as long as dealing with any customers who came across the front counter. also included within the day is doing 10@10 for the VW workshop and all the Night book for DAF workshop.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • i have manged to widen my knowledge of the automotive industry and as well as doing this i have furthered my person skills and as a person become even more approachable to speak with but too also include this within my working environment, when talking to customers over the phone and trying to diagnose problems and ways to fix them.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • overall I've enjoyed the programme and the experience and skills in which it has brought me. The support in which the course leaders have given me was good and also the people around me at my work place have also assisted in the best possible way too which has made the course better in all aspects.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • the whole programme was very well structured and organised i knew exactly what i needed to do to complete the programme along with any addition help in which i need there was either the programme leader or colleagues around me to help me out and prompt me into what was needed to be said and written.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • yes there was plenty of support given to me from my employer but along side this i had addition help from my colleagues but not just the immediate ones around me but also technicians within the workshop and also other colleagues located at other sights. this provide enough support for me to complete the tasks without struggling

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • i did not receive much support from my training provider towards the qualification as i didn't need much support from them as i knew if i had any questions i could as kthe people around me, but every time i saw the tutor i knew she would offer all the help and support in which i needed to complete my tasks

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • using the training provider and apprenticeship scheme has very much helped me within my current job role and made the overall learning side of the role and also additional information i may need about the whole automotive industry and how the vehicles work and certain parts which are fitted and not fitted depending on how they're intended to be used

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • yes there are plenty of extra-curricular activities going on around the whole of Motus commercials, especially with current circumstances there has been plenty of things to be getting involved with while at home or even within the workplace ie advent calender questions everyday and also being able to join in yoga classes from home

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I belive that they offer a wide range of roles suited for everyone's needs and they are very welcoming to the company. most of the people working here offer a good level of support and are very friendly. this makes for a good working environment in which you can have a laugh


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to MOTUS Commercials?
  • i would tell people that they should just be themselves and they will be all oaky and by doing this it will make it a lot easier for them to try and fit into their new job fine. as well as not trying to make a negative impact as it will not be what another wants.
