  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • After mandatory training is completed, placements within the business are carried out. My first placement was in the digital manufacturing team in Turbines. This team oversaw the digital transformation of the business and I personally worked on the development of reporting tools.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Initially my programme had some hiccups, down to us being the first intake to be doing both the new university course and new training provided by Rolls-Royce. As well as this, many of my colleagues and I did not fully grasp what our job role would entail when we started. Since this though, things have improved.
