  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy it

    10/10

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very organised, my tutor plans everything in an order that makes sense to me

    10/10

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • some

    3/10

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • As much as she can provide really; if ever I have any issues or questions I know I can ask her anytime and she will be able to help explain things in a way that I can understand

    10/10

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It really helps; the more I understand the parts behind what I do the better I can do my job. So, whilst I do know what I do on the day-to-day parts of my role, by doing this research and completing work for my qualification I get a deeper understanding on why I do the things I do as a nursery nurse and so complete simple tasks with more depth and understanding.

    10/10

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • After work staff meetings and training sessions? There's also the Christmas parties

    5/10

  • 9a. Would you recommend PlayAway Day Nursery to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Ultimately I enjoy what I do and the place does give a very friendly and homey vibe. The teams work really well together and there's overall a good dynamic of being laid back and friendly, and getting on with work.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PlayAway Day Nursery?
  • Confidence is key. Be like you're a whole ✨10/10✨. Knowledge is obviously key in any field but if you have no prior experience or knowledge in childcare then familiarise yourself with the EYFS and Safeguarding at least.
