I am a quantity surveyor and i price construction work. I also arrange subcontractor payments and oversee their work on site.
I have learnt communication and IT skills. I have developed an intense knowledge of the construction industry and gained a lot of confidence
I really enjoy it and hope to stay on at the company after my apprenticeship
Extremely well organised, i have regular meetings to discuss my progress
They have funded my HNC course and supplied me with a company vehicle
The tutors are a great help and push me to do well
It gives me professional knowledge to apply to my practical knowledge of the construction industry
We compete in fun runs and there are often bbqs arranged at work.
