  • I enjoy being a student at Lincoln College, I find the tutors knowledgeable and helpful and the course is challenging and informative

    10/10

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It seems well structured. Sometimes two similar subjects can come up in different lessons but at different times which can seem like I make a step back to basics on the subject sometimes. But it generally catches the knowledge up quickly and becomes useful.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Adequate. As a mechanical engineer first and training to be electrical it can sometimes be hard to get the time to complete the NVQ work I have to do in work time. But I put the extra work in at home so its not a big problem.

    10/10

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The more skills I learn for the job the better. There is a lot of work for mechanical and electrical maintenance and its easy for the two disciplines to crossover sometimes

    10/10

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
