Yes, all if not most of the topics/subjects covered on the course is new to me. It has helped me understand different processes as well as learn about details involved. Somethings I have been able to take away and put into perspective, relating it to what I do / will do which gives me a better understanding.
The programme is enjoyable, being able to meet new people from different backgrounds on the same course, with different views and knowledge from their fields. Being able to learn new knowledge and get a better understanding is also very satisfying. Its also enjoyable to here about the tutors real life experiences relating to what we are learning.
It is well organised, the programme is broken down into 2 week blocks where we studying a topic each week. Each topic is broken down into sub topics to make sure we learn I a way / order that will help us complete the assignments.
Regularly speak with Managing Director giving him an update on what we have covered, how it went as well as discussing an issues. I am also given time to complete coursework.
Lots of support, always able to call or email to discuss any issues as well as being given guidance and support during the block week sessions. I get sent a monthly bulletin covering different topics and giving advice as well as stating possibilities for the future.
I feel like the course that I am on doesn't fully relate to what I do in my role, some aspects do and some parts I can take away with me. Although it doesn't fully relate it is all new to be and is knowledge beneficial to me personally.
Yes, there are multiple activities and events to get involved in at work.
