Supervisor of the Administration Department for a Trade Union, oversee the work of 4 staff members offering support, guidance and coaching alongside completing my own workload.
Yes, I was originally the grade 1 clerical assistant in the office and have since been promoted to supervisor. Developed my skills in communication and leading/managing people.
Really enjoyed the experience and it has really allowed me to be confident in my knowledge and skills that I have gained. My tutor was extremely supportive throughout.

I feel it has helped me further the knowledge I had and to better myself in my skills, it has ultimately helped me in being promoted into my new role and helped me in the process of changing over from a clerical assistant to supervising my colleagues.
as we are a trade union we run regular campaign days to support the Union's campaigns as well as monthly social events.
