  • Working to meet apprenticeship criteria by going through multiple functions, not really a full time role i could have at the end of the scheme.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Due to working in multiple functions my understanding of the business has massively improved from day one. Ive also been sent on courses to develop my technical knowledge

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Job from day one hasnt matched requirements so needed to rely on manager to use his network to find areas where i can cover the specifics and other areas. Learning provider has been good once I got a new skills coach. was not great before this.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • all training dates were booked in from the get go, and always have catch up calls scheduled with my skills coach.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Manager has been excellent with supporting me throughout the programme. only downside is the unknown once scheme is completed, we have to find these jobs at the end of the scheme ourselves.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • learning provider has been great with providing top class trainers when away for courses, this showed as I passed all exams in the first attempt.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • great to have gone through the scheme and be an apprentice but the certificate at the end doesnt hold much wait such as a full degree would. but I was always aware of this. The learning and criteria to meet has been a great guide.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Team building activities are scheduled etc, this comes from the team you are in.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • fantastic company with a whole host of opportunities to go into after the scheme if you can secure a job as it is not a guarantee


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Vodafone?
  • dont say no to anything as experience in anything is a massive help and network builder within this company
