1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I walk in the lab to support my team with material supply for 2 team. I also have the opportunity to do fermentation work with bioreactors which reach up to 500l to support the requests need for toxicology studies and other studies.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

yes, from basic skills like excel use to understanding how to extract DNA using a Qiagen kit. I've had opportunity to sample product had have understanding of how the platform process can be manage to ensure high level protein production.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy being independent and seeing myself really supporting my team in the best way possible. overall the exposure and work is interesting.

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

too well organised. I even provides student with the opportunity to learn from their mistakes.

everyone is very supportive and are willing to help when requested.

there is support available by the university of kent and the cogent team make the experience of learning less pressuring.

it links well to areas that I work in.

there are a lot of things people can get involved with from volleyball to the gym.
