  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • On a day to day basis I am expected to ensure the correct and safe working of myself and my machinery. Plan and create various different workpieces to go towards my NVQ as well as review them. I am taught by my instructors how to safely and correctly use machinery. Working where I work there are lots of opportunities for extra learning on the companies role. I am responsible for the safe keeping of all my own PPE and first when it come to the responsibility of my own safety. Once a week I go to the Basingstoke college of technology to conduct outside learning towards my NVQ.
