  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • i do carpentry day to day but what im specifically doing all the time changes as im working on different sites and with different people, but i dont always know what i am doing therefore the people that i work with help me to learn and teach me the right ways of doing things so that i improve and would be able to do it unassisted after knowing everything that i need to.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • while working with my both my employer and my training provider i feel i have done both as i had already known a few things but hadn't ever done them alot or practised them much as well as most days i do something new and different that i learn and then try to listen and understand how to do them properly, so im always developing skills and learning new ones.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • my programme at college isnt always the same as what i do on sites, but i learn new things that may help me one day and things i probably wouldn't learn how to do if i didn't go to my training provider, but i enjoy learning how to do different things whether thats at work or at the training centre, and when i have learnt how to do certain skills i like to then use it when im working without having to ask for much help.
