  • A few general work skills and basic understanding of building pathology but nothing extensive

  • Training and education is pretty good, management of my job by my employer leaves a lot to be desired

  • Not very structured at all from the employer. There is no point of contact, help or assistance provided. The university is better at dealing with issues though compared to my employer.

  • Little to nothing.

  • Quite a bit of support with regular meetings, supervisors and assistance with the end point assessment and educational coursework.

  • I wouldn’t say it does but it provides a good amount of supplementary information to build a basis of knowledge which will assist in my role / future roles

  • No

  • There management and culture is extremely frustrating for employees with no assistance or help in regard to employment matters.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Westminster City Council?
  • Be wary that you will get no help and will largely be left to your own devices to mange your programme, e.g getting experience, rotation to different teams
