Varies day to day. Typically if I am based in the office I could be undertaking a measure of building design in order to ascertain quantities for costing, or reviewing costs submitted by a contractor, or putting together a contract. On site I could be attending site progress meetings, undertaking valuations and monitoring change control.
Yes - I have learnt the core skills of a quantity surveyor from scratch and I am developing my skills everyday.
I thoroughly enjoy the programme.

Support from the employer is fundamental, and I am lucky to have such supportive colleagues who develop me everyday
They teach you everything you need to pass your exams.
To be perfectly honest, I feel like the qualification is playing catch up with what I'm learning in the workplace. I haven't yet applied what I've learnt at university in the workplace.
