1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

During my apprenticeship I was working as a cashier, my day to day job roles included serving customers and giving them the best customer experience.

Achieved a Level 2 diploma in providing financial services with the programme. Also have qualifications in customer service at level one which was an external training course.

5. How well organised/structured is your programme?

I received a lot of recognition during my apprenticeship, a lot of these were done during the morning meetings. I won Apprentice of the year' throughout the southern regions within Barclays and also got graded as highly commended by the national apprenticeships.

6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?

I had a 1-1 every month with my line manager and also had extra training from an external provider who worked with barclays

10/10

7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?

Very good money and is not too far to travel from home. On the same wage as a normal cashier

8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?

Sme of the things I have been involved in is rebuilding horse stables for a local business, coffee mornings, and also business events to encourage other apprentices.

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Barclays?

Prepare yourself. Research Barclays and what they offer. Provide as much as examples as possible.
