  • - Efficiently process vendor invoices and employee expenses, entering and monitoring progress through our Intranet Peoplesoft. - Responsible for the payment through our banking systems ensuring they are correctly approved and paid in a timely manner according to the supplier's payment terms. - Act on my own initiative and take responsibility for difficult and complicated queries via email or telephone calls. - Obtaining customer remittances on request and receipting payments. - Processing journals, accruals and prepayments Helping to identify areas to reduce costs and improve processes. Ad-hoc reporting and analysis.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Work individually and as part of a team sharing knowledge and experience with other colleagues and take ownership for my own personal development. Acting on my own initiative and take responsibility for difficult and complicated queries which arise.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I thoroughly enjoy the apprenticeship as it provides me both on and off the job training. Offering me the experience of a full time job but also being able to study and deepen my knowledge in my career field.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I receive lots of support from both the management team and my learning provider Kaplan. There is always someone around to provide support and guidance to me helping me through my program and job role.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Have monthly meetings with my manager discussing my progress and what tasks need to be completed next month. Constantly offering support and guidance from all remembers of the team with my job role and studies.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Have a call with my talent coach every three months where we discuss my progress and if I need any further support in the work place or with my studies. Monthly email communications discussing how the prior month has gone and the progress in which I have made.

  • Always ask for support and guidance if you are struggling as there will always be someone who can help and who has completed the task previously.
