  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really do enjoy this program it has allowed me to do things I never thought I would be involved in such as being apart of the imeche railway challenge which has been challenging and fun to be apart of and has testing my abilities and improved my skills since I have been involved with this project

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • For the most part the program has been organised okay one of the key issues that holds back how I feel about this program is the college itself being very unorganised and unhelpful that’s not to do with our company it’s to do with the providers (the college) however, some of the staff have really tried to put us before them and have tried to help us as much as possible even though the management of the college is awful

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • The support we get from the employer is great if we need something they are able to provide or help with such as needing more time at depot or if we need more time at college our employers are happy to do whatever we need to get the work done

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • The most staff are really good at supporting us throughout our work however some of the staff and the management behind it all have been really unhelpful and haven’t bother to try and help us as last year we had been messed about kept changing and swapping lessons and staff. Which resulted in our grades being lower and not to our best effort and the management believed if was our own faults even though they kept changing everything and made weeks very inconsistent

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualifications we are receiving will massively benefit our careers in the future with both different diplomas we are going to get at the end of this year will be able to show my engineering ability to my employers and what I have learnt since being on the course which shows them how far I have come as an apprentice

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes there are however, I believe these are what people put on themselves rather than the company however this option they have is really nice to see and allows us as a workforce bond while not having to be at work where we can relax and have some proper time to chill and have fun

  • 9b. Why?
  • Because it’s a really fun company and the experiences I’ve had since being part of the company is great I do which the provider (Fareham college) was better as some of the staff and he management aren’t very helpful however, our managers try their best to help and push us to be the best we can
