Apprentice Developer Review

My role is Apprentice Developer, I mainly do Deployment verification testing of a application. I support development team for fixing issues, for personal development I do various assignments related to coding, Attend KT. Explore new things in a team. Do mandatory trainings, and various Apprentice activities like individual presentation, Group presentation, Micro-Tyco, etc.

Yes I have learnt many more things by doing various assignments I have build my logic in coding, testing knowledge, Domain knowledge. learning new things from team mates way of communicating with them . Making reports of work related scenarios, creating pages on confluence and learnt various coding languages like C#, .net, sql etc.

Yes I do enjoy a lot because I am not only doing one particular thing as an apprentice but I am actually growing a lot by learning many different things. I get confidence of whatever I am doing in short period of time and developing my skills in different ways.

All the things are managed very well like in first three months we are supposed to complete various Mandatory trainings and individual presentation in same way all other Apprentice objective are planned according to that and every objective have specific time period to complete based on its importance and priority.

Entire Apprenticeship program was explained for two years, what will be the objective for this two years and all objectives were planned and explained according to that. Our employer used to set one to one WebEx meetings with all the apprentice to know how well we are we doing, do we need any help from their side or our we facing any issue.

Senior colleagues provided training as Knowledge Transfer and gave complete knowledge of project, application and domain, every small information, basic detail was covered, explained and every doubt was cleared. If required, trainer used to personally explain our doubts and cover same topic again to make us understand the concept completely.

As an apprentice developer I have learnt many more things with the help of training provider in very short period of time. I feel encouraged and motivated to do challenging tasks. The training provider and all colleagues always inspire and helps me whenever I am stuck in completing any task.

Yes we have many extra-curricular activities like chair yoga, indoor games, drum circle etc. In social activities we have water cup, career guidance, river cleaning etc. some times we have town hall and colleague engagement activities. All this activities keep us together as a team, this increases bond and good team understanding between team.
