  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Develop new functionalities in PCB banking domain as well as find solution for the same. Finding existing issues in environment and fix them and move it to Testing team. Once its done from testing Team deploy it for Business for testing. Once we receive confirmation we are deploying it to Production.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Learning New technology Salesforce and related coding languages, learnt Automation Selenium. Here are the list of my new skills which i have learnt in Barclays: 1. Java 2. Selenium - Automation Framework 3. Cucumber - Gherkin Syntax 4. Salesforce - Cloud based technology 5. Apex - Coding language used for Salesforce Development As well as learning new functionalities for salesforce development.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Because of new domain and opportunity to explore new technologies area. Getting more time space to explore new things in banking domain and how to achieve them. Proper guidance and training modules to enhance skills in technology domain as well as in communication skills. We have career Coach for end to end guidance.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • We have maintained objectives and its tracking passport to track each individual objective track record. Here as i mentioned we have career Coach assigned to track our Objective progress and help them to achieve. We have regular one to one with coach as well as Line managers to give them our progress status and start new objective.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Excellent!!!. Everybody here is supportive and try to push to give more focus. Managers and colleagues are more helpful for guidance through out the program so they helped us to improve our skills with help of regular training sessions as well as regular once to one feedback for the month.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Great!!! Guiding through out the program and supporting for new objective, explaining new objectives and if have any problem then solved it for us. Objectives were more focused and cleared so whatever we have assigned, we achieved it. Every time we have different learning sessions if we required, if we asked our Line managers and career coach.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Excellent!!!. Here its not about the training but they also focus on our skills and performance to achieve long terms goals. To get projects goals, to understanding requirements, gathering information's, and logically able to build user stories for our business. Some extra ordinary chances to get to the new technologies based on individuals performance.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes. I'm a part of Spectrum Core committee Team to help and organize the awareness program for LGBT community as well as we have many social activities done so far. We have Food distribution, cloth distribution, tree plantation activities and work for rural areas for water saving. Colleague engagement activities through out the Braclys.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Believe in their youngsters , promote them and always give more opportunities to achieve goals. We have great chance to show our skills and improve it under the experts guidance and to get the proper way to get it. Proper structured, sorted, focused and cleared project goals, and with the help of it we are more comfortable to achieve it.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Barclays?
  • Be honest and try to get it, believe in yourself and go ahead. Always try to learn something new things from your senior leadership teams , ask them to give your some guidance for particular section. Always show activeness and ability to learn something new to your Coach and manager and ask them for the same.
