  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt many new skills. In college I have learnt how to strip down engines and rebuild them, how to replace brakes, tires on wheels, gaskets on many components and many more skills. Learning is only limited to how you want to work, if you want to learn then all of the information is there you just need to grab it.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I love it. The programme is fantastic and very well structured, the college allows you to build a base for you knowledge and helps you refresh some things and will give you a great head start for University and help massively to boost your confidence. Lectures are always helpful for any problems you may have and then translates into the work place as management are keen to help you develop as a people and an employee so will do whatever they can to help you grow.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The structure has some draw backs where the communication between the company and education provider is not great and unfortunately this then affects us. But if you voice your concerns to the right people they will back you up and help try and make the chances to help improve the situation.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Lots. The company wants you to be successful so will have a wide range of training available but you just have to ask and it will be made available to you. The company wont spoon feed it to you, they want to see the people go out there and want to develop themselves.

  • The college aid us massively. If you ever need advise or assistance on an assignment or project you can ask any lecturer to seek help and wisdom on how to sort any issues you have and how you can solve the problems. They are always really keen to see you do the best you can.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I think the qualification gives you a base line for the job but the best learning comes from being on the job and working on projects within the company as you see first hand what goes on and this helps really consolidate your knowledge and how the company works and how you need to do your job.
