  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I serve all different types of customers coming into my store and also make all of the food orders in kitchen using the correct procedures. I do this five times a week with each day being different based on the staff members I work with and the different customers I serve.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is very helpful and structured as it uses a very useful website to look at all different help sheets and activities and then can upload my evidence of my work onto another website which I can always revisit and improve my knowledge on it when I felt it was needed.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I revive an hour off the floor a week to do work for my apprenticeship working in the back office undisturbed. I sometimes ask for more time based on the amount off work that has been set by my apprentice. I feel like some managers are very understanding and supportive but not all.

  • 9a. Would you recommend McDonald's to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Even through McDonalds may have a bad stigma to the public eye, the work environment is very good and the staff are just so helping and supportive in any problems you have and will work with you when you have any issues and try their best to help in any way.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to McDonald's?
  • Make sure you look into to the role of being a McDonald’s worker and know what goes into each day working there. There are procedures that must be followed due to health and safety for both the customers and for yourself. It is a very lovely place to work.
