  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualification is helpful in regards to my role as the first qualification gave me an overall view and basic understanding of the financial industry in which I can apply to my role to figure out where my role fits into the industry. My next qualification is specific to my role so will give me a deeper understanding into what I do and why I do it.

  • 9a. Would you recommend UBS to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I would recommend UBS as the company overall has a great culture and is an enjoyable place to work. The company and employees are also very supportive of the apprentices by offering guidance and experiences; while still treating apprentices the same as other employees by allowing involvement in many areas of work. UBS offers high opportunities for career progression and personal growth.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to UBS?
  • Look at all the areas offering positions and chose one which is of interest to you. Research the company, especially the company values as that is a huge part of working at UBS - you must understand the culture which UBS promotes and show that you can apply these values to yourself.
