Project Controls Apprentice Working in an office environment, rotations through the disciplines of project controls
Yes, I have developed my excel skills. I have learnt that no question is a stupid question
I am really enjoying it so far, everyone in the office is very friendly and helpful
I feel as though I am a part of the team, I get involved in anything I can
It was a bit rocky at first due to it being the first apprenticeship of its kind but it is getting better all of the time
As much as I need, they are always on the end of an email if I ever need help or advice
Again as much as I need, my manager sits down with me and goes through the criteria I need to meet and how I am going to get there
Its generous for an apprentice scheme, Sometimes I do run short but it will get better over time
There are loads of things that we can get involved in as being part of EDF
Yes
I feel that they are a great company to work for and a great way to start a real career. You are looked after a lot
Just do it
