I am Finance/Credit Controller at Pinnacle consulting Engineers and i have multiple duties over the month such as preparing and sending Invoices, Receiving and updating purchase invoices, Managing the employee expenses. i also deliver monthly reports like cash flow statement and a whole host of things like balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations. i interact with the engineers daily and work directly with the Finance Controller.i work directly with projects ensuring costs and expenditures are kept within our fee.
I have learnt a wide set of skills from using accounting software to enhancing my excel skills.
I enjoy my programme and i believe it is well suited to help everyone on their journey to becoming an accountant.
i felt like part of the team as soon as i joined and now our team needs me so they can work. the responsibilities i have means we all need to work so the work gets done.
It is very well organised because we work directly with Kaplan(College) so i always am up to date with work and when i'm needed in.
They give me all the support i need. My talent coach and tutor always get back to me as soon as with answers to whatever i ask.
My employer gives me amazing support. They gave me a very competitive salary and i receive all the benefits like private medical and pension.
My salary far outweighs my costs to the point where i am able to put a considerable amount of savings aside. I do have costs totalling half my monthly pay but its well worth it.
I have lots of opportunities like CPD's and i have the option to travel between our offices across the country for seminars. we also hold company events which are exciting.
Yes
The company is very family like and they are growing with me through the business so its very exciting to see where we'll be.
No matter how far you may have to travel its well worth it when you're there.
