  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my programme, but sometimes it is hard to get the balance between work, apprenticeship work and home life. If you are determind and organsised you will ace it.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Tesco?
  • I feel fairly valued by Tesco. They are investing money into you and giving you an actual day role. The development is slow and thats what is lacking here.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is well organised now, but at first there was no organisation or clear structure. 2 years in this is much better. We need to know information far inadvance to manage around our day jobs which can be demanding.

  • Lots. [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] is great and is always at the end of the telephone. She always trys her best to anwser questions, and if in doubt she will go away and find the anwser.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I get lots of support in my day to day job, and if I am stuggling my manager will spendt time to teach me etc. However, my employer doesn't offer large amounts of support for my apprenticeship.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • Not well. I have relocated for this job and this has made things diffuclt as the job means moving to a more expensive area. I couldnt have done this without large amounts of support from my family.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • Tesco is a great place to make friends, so if you are outgoing you will enjoy the social aspect that it can entail. The community for apprenticships is lacking.

  • 9. Would you recommend Tesco to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • As there is lots of scope and opportunity. There are lots of people working here that can give you lots of advice and first hand experience.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Tesco?
  • Look into Tesco's values and make sure that you agree with them. It is a two way thing, Tesco needs to work for you aswell as you work for Tesco.
