  • In charge of the running of a Barclays branch. Ensuring all of our colleagues are doing their jobs correctly and managing a team to ensure customers get the best experience possible.

  • Numerous new skills and developed existing ones massively: 1. Time management skills improved 2. People management 3. Project management 4. Public speaking skills 5. Customer service management etc

  • I enjoy the programme a great deal due to the opportunity that I am given and the potential to work forward and move onto great things which I would not be given the opportunity to do otherwise.

  • The programme is structured well. The roles you work through are laid out so you know how the progression looks over the course of the 3 years.

  • Massive amount. If I need support or help with an assignment or university work, I can ask for it from my lecturers or personal tutor.

  • great deal to allow me to move through the roles and achieve from the university side of things by having time off from work to complete my assignments.

  • Perfectly.

  • Not many opportunities outside of work to do what I am doing.

  • Yes

  • For the opportunity you are given as well as a fully funded degree there is no apprenticeship on the market that compares in my opinion.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Barclays?
  • Be yourself and be passionate about the programme and willing to work hard. Barclays cares about you as a person and is keen to see you achieve.
