  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • In Fujitsu, I work in the Second level support desk team. Our job is to receive tickets from the first level team that couldn't be resolved then and assists the user/caller with their computer based issue. These tickets are filtered into a management system and then allocated between team members. Everyday varies on the amount of calls given.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • After working here for 6 months, I have not only improved my It knowledge but improved myself. I have learned how to approach diversity and how to act in a professional manner. I have increased my knowledge in multiple different IT sectors as I have attended various courses.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy all aspects of my apprenticeship. i enjoy talking with my team as they are always willing to help with in work and out of work issues. I enjoy Fujtisu as they provide great benefits as an employee. So far i have learned and experienced more than I could have imagned

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Fujitsu?
  • Within Fujtisu, each team member and manager respects myself as an apprentice and respects the fact I may lack It knowledge, so I highly respect the company for kindly welcoming me into a new environment and making me feel wanted.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I have a full learning plan created to increase the experience I have here and to maximize my learning. This is highly detailed and gives me a wide variety of topics to learn.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • From my trainer, I have full support from them. I am always being informed that if I have any questions or quires I can ask any questions.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer(s) are always eager to make sure I am working fine and have no issues. They also make sure that my experience within this apprenticeship is both educational and enjoyable

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • With my currently salary, I can happily get to and from work and pay my rent and car bills. I love my salary as it funds my current hobbies such as the Gym and travelling.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • Fujitsu has potential outside of work as we get discounts on different activities such as the Cinema. Also there are employees that have a Fujitsu football team that compete with other companies for fun.

  • Yes

  • Fujitsu holds great opportunity for everyone. They provide great benefits, support inside and outside of work and the environments are friendly and welcoming with others willing to share knowledge.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Fujitsu?
  • Don't be afraid in the interview, all employees have a great nature.
