I work in liaison with production and manufacturing to improve the performance and production rates. This spans from working initially with the maintenance teams as a tradesman and later as an engineer in guaranteeing line performance.
Learned new skills and developed on existing.
This program allowed improving as an individual, a worker and gives me tools of high value for the future.
I feel valued , however not as much as expected. This is changing and hopefully I will feel even more valued in the future.
The program lacks structure and the expectations are high and often unrealistic for the available time of the workers.
The University has played their role, North West training Council has not.
The employer gives support, but lacks structure to enforce the support, especially by not putting the means of support on paper. The student can struggle for time to do the assignments and coursework.
The salary package is very appealing.
Not really, and that is part of the problem in Halewood.
Yes
The balance between the development that is enabled and the salary package are hard to match.
Be focused and friendly at all times, and learn as much as possible from the people around you.
