VME Managed Services, my daily tasks are the upkeep and maintenance of the VME services that run for companies such as Nationwide. Currently I have had no interaction with customers as I have been waiting on my security clearance. However, I have regular contact with my colleagues who have allowed me to shadow their day to day activities etc.
I have developed my Visual Basic knowledge as I have been working on an internal project that is written in VB. I have also been sent on an external course, delivered by Verhoef for training in Supernova and the SCL programming. My communication skills have been improved as a result of the daily interaction with my colleagues.
I thoroughly enjoy every aspect of the programme.
I have received very good, positive feedback from my manager and my colleagues. Given the big push by Fujitsu for apprenticeships, I feel very valued.
The programme is very well organised in every aspect.
I have yet to meet one of my tutors. However, the contact I have had from the other tutor has been very good.
I have received the upmost support from my employer, regarding any query or concern I have raised.
Although I have a distance to travel, I have found that car sharing with 2 of my colleagues a big help. The salary is above average.
I have received many emails and requests to join in the activities that are available outside of work.
Yes
I have found them a fantastic, well structured and extremely supportive company to work for.
Even if you have only ever used a computer to browse the internet, the training provided is of the upmost quality and the opportunities available are second to none.
