  • Office Design apprentice. Daily tasks include validating requirements, completing network office designs and liasing with the rest of the team or external teams with regards to any issues.

  • Currently studying CCNA 1 & 2 at TCAT. I have completed IT essentials V4.1 at TCAT.

  • I enjoy the team work and the individual project work which is assigned to me.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Fujitsu?
  • The apprentices within fujitsu as a whole are valued, various meetings with managers has resulted in apprentices being a big part of Fujitsu's future.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is structured well. The mix of on the job training with the knowledge gained from studying CCNA at college works well.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • As much support as needed. The training provider can give help and advice whenever needed via email or verbally if in college.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • More than enough support if given by the employer, there is a buddy scheme in place which help alot. Knowledge and advice is given on a daily basis this way.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • It works well, the only real cost affecting me is the daily travel cost of driving to work.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • The apprentices at fujitsu often have events to attend, this is good because it helps the company as well as giving you a chance to meet the other apprentices from around the company. Fujitsu help the local community by volunteering with the local charity such as shelter.

  • Yes

  • Fujitsu like to look after their employees and apprentices. Apprentices are often seen as the future of Fujitsu.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Fujitsu?
  • If you want a career within an IT background then Fujitsu is a great place to work, there are many opportunites within this company. If you are willing to work hard and enjoy what you are doing then Fujitsu is a good company for you.
