Office Design apprentice. Daily tasks include validating requirements, completing network office designs and liasing with the rest of the team or external teams with regards to any issues.
Currently studying CCNA 1 & 2 at TCAT. I have completed IT essentials V4.1 at TCAT.
I enjoy the team work and the individual project work which is assigned to me.
The apprentices within fujitsu as a whole are valued, various meetings with managers has resulted in apprentices being a big part of Fujitsu's future.
The programme is structured well. The mix of on the job training with the knowledge gained from studying CCNA at college works well.
As much support as needed. The training provider can give help and advice whenever needed via email or verbally if in college.
More than enough support if given by the employer, there is a buddy scheme in place which help alot. Knowledge and advice is given on a daily basis this way.
It works well, the only real cost affecting me is the daily travel cost of driving to work.
The apprentices at fujitsu often have events to attend, this is good because it helps the company as well as giving you a chance to meet the other apprentices from around the company. Fujitsu help the local community by volunteering with the local charity such as shelter.
