Working as a network infrastructure engineer, specialising in troubleshooting Wi-Fi and DSL issues.
Various networking skills through on the job training. MTA qualifications through college.
Job is meeting expectations and working atmosphere is very enjoyable.
Feel fairly well valued - have been integrated into the team and been working on various projects soon after starting.
Courses are interesting and relevant but sometimes a lack of information about the structure.
College tutors are helpful and happy to discuss and provide guidance on any issues with the course material.
On the job mentor is very helpful and provides plenty of support/guidance.
Just about covers monthly living costs.
Plenty of activities and socialising outside of work.
