  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My job title is a Domain management technician, this is a technical role in which I have many different types of daily tasks such as, running in spreadsheets, GPO's and managing userdomain31 mailbox. I have a lot of internal interactions within my role, i have to constantly communicate with team members and also external interactions in which I have to communicate with the customer to give them time scales and information. I am currently working on the App-v project.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt a lot of new skills and also developed some of the existing skills that I had. I have done this by going on training courses and internal training.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy the programme and I very much enjoy working within my team, the type of work that we do is what interests me and therfore helps it to be enjoyable. The programme meets my expectations and I have been given a lot of oppertunities such as secondments and training courses.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Fujitsu?
  • I feel very valued by Fujitsu, I get a lot of appreciation from my team leader and manager and when I am performing well I am given praise. I have been internaly recognised by Fujitsu for a secondment that I went on with vouchers.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The structure of the programme is also very good, I had an induction before I started to make sure I had an insight of the team before I began. I have been given a lot of support and training to help me to get up to speed. I am also given time to complete college work within work to keep up to date on my studies. I was given a mentor when I first started to give me guidence and show me how the team works.

  • I get good support from my training provider, I am given realistic time scales and support to help me to complete the programme.

  • I get a lot of support from my employer such as my manager and my mentor to help me to get to grips with my job role.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • I think that for an apprentice the salary is very good, when I was travelling to my secondment this was also paid for.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • There are many oppertunities given to apprentices outside of work, this is things such as company events and activities.

  • 9. Would you recommend Fujitsu to a friend?
  • Yes

  • I would recommend Fujitsu because I really enjoy my job role and the salary is also very good.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Fujitsu?
  • I would advice people to show enthusiasm is their interview and show that they are willing to learn.
