work within logistics EUS engineering services, so i deal with customers and engineers on a daily basis. My key responsibilty is to make sure i close down as many calls as possible and to collect parts from customer sites and to make sure engineers return them.
Yes i have learnt a huge aount of skills, within my written communication and also verbal communication when speaking to customers and engineers.
I enjoy my programme as i get to work with other team members and i also build relationships with other people.
I do feel like a valuable member of the team, as my manager ensures i am kept happy and that i am recognised for my achievements. As an apprentice i am a valued memeber of the team on the project i work in, and do not get treated any differently than any other member.
I believe it could be well organised in how the training coursework is laid out, but overall i believe it is adequate for the apprenticeship i am in. There is a mentor support system that i can always use, when i need help with anything i am doing which is comforting to know.
I recieve a lot of support from my tutor and i can contact via email or phone if i ever need help with my work.
I recieve support from my employer, and also my mentors/buddies. i also have HR to contact if i ever feel to be in a difficult situation that i do not feel comfortable telling someone i know.
I do struggle with my salary, as i commute to work and having to pay for fuel costs and car maintenance. Also, living costs in my home and house keeping can also be quite costly. As an apprentice i believe it would be nice if we could be given a little extra more in order to help pay bills and living, travel costs and daily essentials.
There are many opportunities i have been given outside of work to attend, to network and socialise with other people. Also, company events and CSR events we can do for charity. I believe this is great so we can help in the community and also network with people which may help our future career. We can also volunteer to help local schools with their future careers and what they would like to do.
Yes
I believe Fujitsu is a great starting point for a career and can help you with the career path you want to choose as there are so many different areas you can move into.
I would reccomend they are 100% happy with everything they submit in their application and also be confudent in their interview and to to themselves. Show that you have the drive and amibition to succeed and you are willing to put in the hard work to achieve the results and become a vlued member of fujitsu.
