  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My course lasts for 3 years. The first year I am a trainee merchandiser, the second a trainee buyer and the third I get to choose out of the two to carry on my career with. My day to day tasks involve running reports and analysing data to outline department performance. I interact with fellow merchandisers and also buyers to get orders processed and new products registered on the system. I also communicate with suppliers to resolve any problems.
