Morrisons offers you the chance to be part of a different kind of retail business. Whether you’re a school leaver, student or graduate, our early careers give you a unique perspective, real responsibility and tons of valuable experience.
You see, unlike our competitors, we own most of our own supply chain. We’re both food makers and shopkeepers, home to diverse teams that create success together. That means you’ll find an amazing scope for learning here.
Corporate Degree Apprenticeship
We’ll make you into a future retail leader. You’ll make Morrisons.
Now you don’t have to choose between starting your career or studying towards a degree. At Morrisons, we are giving hard-working school and college leavers the chance to have the best of both worlds.
Our Corporate Degree Apprenticeship, delivered in partnership with the University of Bradford and Sheffield Hallam University, allows you to work towards a degree while preparing for a brilliant management career within our unique food retail business. Not only do we pay all your course fees for you, but you also get to work and earn a salary while you’re studying – so money is never a concern.
Be at the heart of it all
Unlike our competitors, we own most of our own supply chain. We make our success as both food makers and shopkeepers. This unique way of doing business offers opportunities and experiences other food retailers can’t. Our Corporate Degree Apprenticeship puts you at the heart of it all.
Over three years, you’ll build up a good understanding of our business and industry by working on placements in areas such as trading, supply chain, HR, marketing, loss prevention and property. There will be opportunities for you to make an impact on exciting live business projects. Plus you’ll be gaining valuable skills, experiences and insights with a variety of Morrisons teams.
Achieve a valuable degree
While you’re working with us, you’ll also be studying towards a Bsc (Hons) Management and Business. Balancing work and a degree course will be challenging. But we provide generous study leave throughout the programme. And, in return for your hard work and determination, you’ll gain full chartered membership of the CMI. What’s more, you’ll have the experience you need to step into a management role after three years and become one of our future leaders.
What you’ll need to join us
We’re looking for resilience, determination and good leadership skills, along with the flexibility to meet the changing needs of our business. You’ll also need a minimum of 104 UCAS points (based on the new UCAS tariff or 260 based on the old tariffs).
