Position Summary

The programme

We recognise that people are our core asset and are central to Samsung’s success as a business. Join us in the People Team and you'll work towards a Level 3 Human Resources Assistant; advanced apprenticeship, gaining a CIPD Foundation Certificate in HR Practice as part of your apprenticeship. On successful completion you'll have the opportunity to progress onto a Higher HR Apprenticeship and could gain a professional qualification in CIPD Level 5 and above.

The role

You will be part of the Reward Team assisting the Reward team in all areas. Supporting the annual projects; Annual Salary Review, Promotions and Benefit Review/Selection and be the central point of contact for Reward. Ensuring the benefit, recognition and wellbeing programmes run smoothly through working with data and encouraging colleague participation. Always looking to improve processes to be more user friendly and effective.


  • Data collection, checking and analysis to support Annual Salary Review
  • Assist with salary benchmarking


  • Assist with benefit renewals, updating benefit information and the colleague communications for the Annual Benefit Selection
  • Support the monthly reporting to update the benefit platform and benefit providers and invoicing


  • Monitor recognition usage and look
  • Administration of the recognition platform


  • Maintain the wellbeing annual calendar and support with events
  • Assist with invoicing of wellbeing benefits

Skills and Qualifications

You will also have opportunities throughout your 2 year program to gain knowledge and experience in recruitment, talent development and HR Business Partnering . You will gain and apply practical and theoretical knowledge allowing you to develop personal skills whilst interfacing and building relationships with people in the business. We provide full training which includes an induction and development programme.

Required qualifications and skills:

  • 5 GCSEs including English and Maths
  • Provide Evidence of eligibility to work in the UK for the duration of the programme
  • Good with numbers, Confident working with data
  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Be proactive about getting involved in all areas of Reward
