Engineering Apprenticeship – Mechanical and Electrical

We have an exciting opportunity for Mechanical and Electrical/Electronic Apprentices to join us from September 2017. You will be part of a team of highly skilled and dedicated employees based at our Porton Down site in Salisbury.
You will have the opportunity to learn from colleagues who are experts in their field, and gain insights that can only come from real world experience.

The NVQ level 3 Mechanical and Electrical/Electronic apprenticeship will be a structured programme on a 3 year fixed term appointment with the potential to offer full-time employment if appropriate.

As a member of the 5% club, we’re committed to ensuring that 5% of our workforce are apprentices, graduates or sponsored students on a structured programme over the next five years.
Starting salary is circa: £12,500 per annum
Applicants are required to be at least 16 years old and hold 5 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grade C or above, which must include Maths, English and at least one science.
Due to the reserved nature of this role, it is only open to UK Nationals who have lived in this country for more than five years. All posts require standard Security Clearance (SC).
