Wood Shop and Lacquer Apprenticeship
As a Rolls-Royce Wood Shop and Lacquer Apprentice you will gain a general appreciation of the wood and lacquering process through 'On the Job' training coupled with day release at College.
You'll spend three years developing your skills by working your way round the department, as well as earning a Level 3 NVQ in Modern Manufacturing. After that, there may be the option to take things to the next level with a fourth year of training. Your training will be accompanied by technical qualifications in Wood and Lacquering.
The final year will be in a field of expertise in preparation for potential employment in the relevant discipline.
Qualifications required for Apprenticeship:
- A minimum of 5 GCSE’s Grade C or above including Maths and English.
- Your dedication, enquiring mind and collaborative spirit will be a valuable asset to the team.
- An eye for detail.
- You will need to have good communication skills, the ability to think logically and to work independently or as part of these teams.

Rate of Pay:
A competitive salary enhanced annually depending on individual progress and performance.
Eligible for company car scheme on joining.
40 hour working week, start and finish times will vary according to work based placements and college hours.
