You could be doing UX Design for e-commerce mobile apps, Visual Design for the construction industry, User Research for healthcare and life sciences, or Service Design for sports clubs, just to name a few. You’ll be working alongside fantastic IBMers on real live services used by people all over the world. To us, being a Design Future at IBM is just as much about learning as it is about working. It's also quite a lot about having fun and trying new things! As a Design Future you'll get a MacBook Pro to do your work, as well as access to all the latest design software and industry-leading training material to help you develop your skills.
There are so many things at IBM for you to get involved in both inside and outside of your role to really help you make the most out of your placement. We have fantastic learning facilities, and you will have two managers along with a whole crew of design mentors and buddies to help guide and support you through your time at IBM. As a Design Future you will be based out of our iX Studio in London, near Waterloo.
Unfortunately, you are not eligible to apply for the Futures Scheme if you are studying for or have already completed an undergraduate degree. Those eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship are eligible for this scheme.
The Futures Placement scheme offers you an invaluable opportunity to work with a world-leading company for 12-months, broadening your horizons and giving you a head start in your career.
