Software Engineer Degree Apprentice
Applicants know they want a career as a Web App Developer. They would love the opportunity to work at a Microsoft Business Partner writing software alongside experienced developers and get day release to study at University.
From the beginning, apprentices are expected to take on work helping our developers. This starts with simple tasks that leads to providing customer and system support, testing, coding, and requirements gathering for new projects.
Training to be provided
BSc Digital and Technology Solutions degree at Manchester Metropolitan University is 1 day a week during the university term.
IT skills, Problem solving skills, Logical, Hobbyist programmer
A Level or equivalent Maths or math based (Grade B) Essential
Following completion of the Degree Apprenticeship, you will be a fully-fledged Software Engineer with 4 years of commercial experience building bespoke web systems and should be looking at undertaking a Lead Developer Role.
Things to consider
Our Ellesmere Port Office is convenient for Chester, Liverpool, Wirral, North Wales or Warrington and day release to Manchester Metropolitan University. We will help you with finding student accommodation in Chester and overnight stays at Uni where you are on block release.
