Fleet Apprentice (Welder / Fabricator)

We currently have opportunities to join our Fleet Team from September 2021 as a Welder/ Fabricator Apprentice. The role is 40 hours per week and based at our Bilsthorpe Site. The Welder/ Fabricator Apprentice will gain first-rate training and mentoring along with hands on experience and practical qualifications. Throughout the training period they will gain an NVQ level 2 in Welding.

Within the role, the successful candidate will work under the support and direction to provide fabrication and welding skills in the maintenance of vehicles and plant to prescribed industry and manufactures’ standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and repair turnaround times are met.

Candidate Requirements

  • We are looking for a capable and motivated individual who has an interest in Welding/Fabrication.
  • The ideal candidate will hold at least one of the following:
  • A minimum of 3 GCSE’s at grade C/4 or equivalent
  • Hold level 1 English and Maths functional skills qualifications and have the ability to study to achieve level 2 upon completion of the apprenticeship
  • Full Driving Licence (Desirable)
