Groundworker Level 2 Apprenticeship - Huntingdon

You will assist in a gang to build roads, lay kerbs and pipes, set up safet working areas, welfare facilities, erect and maintain boundary fencing. Lift, fetch and carry items as required.

Training to be provided

Off the job training at an approved training facility working towards an intermediate apprenticeship  and on the the job training with the gang you are working with.  You will also be provided with health and safety training as required.

GCSE or equivalent English (Grade D/3) Essential,GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade D/3) Essential,Other Driving Licence (Grade Full) Desired

Future prospects

You can obtain further training to operate plant.

Some operatives go on to become supervisors.

Things to consider

The hours are long and you may be travelling upto an hour each way to work. You are required to hold a full driving licence.
