Apprentice Building Surveyor - London City Office

An apprenticeship is available in the London Professional Building Surveying team, with a specific focus in Planned Maintenance Programmes.
Savills work for a range of Institutional clients, funds, overseas investors and private wealth individuals. The Technical Due Diligence team are formed of 10 fee-earners who specialize in a variety of services and sectors.
An opportunity exists for an apprentice to work predominantly to support the Planned Maintenance Programme Service Line but also alongside other members of the team supporting a range of their work as required. The individual would need to develop an in-depth understanding of the built environment and professional building surveying in order to assist the team with all aspects of their work, helping them to maintain their market leading position.
Day to day work would include predominantly assisting in all aspects of the preparation of planned maintenance programmes (co-ordination of professionals, inspections, costing, report preparation and presentation) as well as building inspections, assisting in preparing reports, collating and reviewing information, assisting in providing advice, helping with the assessment of buildings and advising on all numerous aspects (form of construction, defect analysis, construction projects etc.), as well as assisting in project monitoring instructions, assisting with the preparation of schedules of condition and, assisting on pitches and presentations and identifying new business opportunities.
