Provisioning Engineer Level 4 Apprenticeship
Learn how our network works
Interested in becoming a network engineering expert? Want to continue studying, learning and working towards professional qualifications? Join us on our Provisioning Engineer Apprenticeship Scheme and you can do both.
Get stuck in from the start
As part of one of our office-based engineering teams, you’ll learn how to design, plan and implement network connections for our business customers. It’s a job that involves lots of communication and teamwork – especially when it comes to guiding engineers out in the field through onsite installations. You’ll also have plenty of problem-solving to do, as you configure services, deliver installations and resolve queries from customers and colleagues.
Build skills for the future
Over the course of the scheme, you’ll get to know how a network works while building the skills you need to become a provisioning engineer. This includes learning how to:
- Allocate technical resource for data products
- Update and configure services on planning databases
- Use vendor back office systems such as IPSA and SAM for Cisco
- Install and implement equipment for standard solutions
What we look for
Curious, technically minded problem-solvers who love nothing more than figuring out the details of how things work. The role involves lots of collaboration and customer-facing work, so you must be a strong communicator and relationship-builder. You also need to be super-confident using computer systems.
What’s in it for you
A great salary and some amazing benefits. Plus, the opportunity to add lots more skills to your locker and study towards an industry-recognised CCNA qualification.
