Automotive Engineering Higher Apprenticeship
Undertaking a structured rotation through various assembly departments, you will work towards a Level 4 HNC in Engineering.
The scheme will provide you with practical hands-on experience gaining an insight into areas including frame assembly, piping and wiring, chassis and cab assembly, vehicle finish and prototype.
As the apprenticeship develops you will also expand your knowledge in areas such electrical fault finding, diagnostics and repair
Training to be provided
You will achieve a HNC in Engineering and will attend Preston's College on a day release basis
Communication skills,Attention to detail,Problem solving skills,Number skills,Analytical skills,Logical,Team working,Initiative
GCSE or equivalent Maths, English and Science (Grade 4) Essential
You will aquire the skills and knowledge required to become an Automotive Engineer which covers a whole range of roles within the business

With the ability to use your own initiative, you will take co-responsibility for your development within the business and help shape your future career.
