Your role

This role sits within the Hardware Team providing day to day support to a busy Procurement and Sales department. This varied and fast paced role will give you insight into the overall purchasing process. Working as an integral member of the team you will be responsible for looking after the team’s shared inbox which can include requests and queries from both internal and external contacts. You will also be responsible for chasing our suppliers for all outstanding orders and maintaining accurate ETA (Estimated time of arrival) and invoice dates to ensure our customers are kept informed on the status of their order. Your day to day tasks will include responsibilities such as; managing a busy shared inbox via Outlook, supporting the wider team with any ad-hoc administrative tasks, working with distribution companies and Purchasers on order queries and working toward your qualification in Business Administration Level 3.

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi task and work well under pressure
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and retain large quantities of information
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Hardworking and conscientious
  • A willingness to learn and work as part of a busy team
  • You will need to have a minimum of 1 A-Level or 5 GCSE’s at 4 (C) grade or above including English & Maths.
