Finance Level 2 Apprenticeship

East Kent College are Currently recruiting for a Finance Apprentice to be base at our Canterbury College Campus. 

Your duties will include:

  • To support with the administration of the purchase ledger
  • To support with the administration of the sales ledger
  • To support with the administration of the cashier function
  • To support the procurement function
  • To support the Management Accounting and Financial Accounting functions
  • Undertake such other duties commensurate with the grade of the post as may reasonably be required
  • Participate in the College’s Performance Standards’ Scheme and undertake training based on individual and service needs
  • To be proactive in helping to create a positive, inclusive ethos that challenges discrimination and promotes equality and diversity

  • Communication – Ability to learn and use the correct technical terms where appropriate. To demonstrate good listening and speaking skills and to be able to communicate effectively in the right manner
  • To use systems and Processes- Learn & Utilise relevant office/accounting software packages and to input and manage confidential data accurately and securely
  • Personal Effectiveness- Ability to organise self, prioritise workload/activity and to meet deadlines
